SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Thank you for visiting Spice Story, and welcome to our page detailing our shipping, and returns policies. Please go through the details below to find out answers to any questions you may have, or you can also check out our FAQ section. - DOMESTIC SHIPPING:
Spice Story provides absolutely free domestic shipping on all orders above Rs. 599/-, irrespective of where you live! Our domestic shipping is handled by our logistics partners BlueDart, DTDC, Delhivery, Shadowfax, Ecom Express & Xpressbees. We are working on adding more logistics partners so we can cover a wider area and provide multiple delivery options. We target to have your products delivered to you within 3-6 working days of you placing the order, however sometimes it might take longer. Delivery times can also be impacted by holidays, severe weather, strikes or bandhs.
- CASH ON DELIVERY (COD):
We are proud to state that we offer Cash on Delivery services for our customers. The service is available for select pin codes. If you do not see a COD shipping method then your postal code will not be eligible for Cash on Delivery. We are constantly working on increasing our coverage of COD orders across India.
- INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
We are working to get international shipping up and running soon – drop us your interest at info@globalvp.in and we will try and add your country to our list as soon as possible!
- ORDER STATUS UPDATES AND TRACKING:
You can log into account to check for updates regarding your orders, and to track the order delivery. We use the following tags to denote the status of your order:
- New:Â This order has been placed by the customer, and needs to be processed
- Processing: The order has started processing – this will now be printed as per requirements and packaged
- Shipped:Â The order has been completed and dispatched by Spice Story, and is on its way to you! You can track the order using the tracking information provided in your account or in the email
- On Hold:Â The order has been put on hold. This could be due to a specific request by you, or because we need more information, or have some technical difficulty. You can reach out to us using the Contact Us section to find out more about your order
- Cancelled:Â This order was cancelled, either by the user or by Spice Story. If you want more information about this, please contact us.
- Returned:Â This order was returned to Spice Story after 3 unsuccessful delivery attempts at the address you provided. Please contact us for more information and to decide how to proceed with redelivery and the extra charge
- New:Â This order has been placed by the customer, and needs to be processed
- CANCELLATION POLICY:
Orders can be cancelled only before they are dispatched, but once they are dispatched, cancellations or modifications will not be possible.Â
To cancel your order, please email us with your order number on info@globalvp.in before the order is dispatched.
- RETURNS AND REFUNDS:
We strive hard to provide you with the absolute best in quality, but realise that sometimes there might be issues with the product that leave you dissatisfied. Our returns policy laid out below is to deal with such situations.
- Damaged/Defective product: In case the packaging, or the product was defective or damaged, then please raise it with us at info@globalvp.in Subject to verification, we will have a pick up arranged and replace the order with something else of your choice, or give you the credits in your account for another purchase.
- Incorrect product/quantity shipped: In case we have shipped the wrong product or incorrect quantity, please flag it at info@globalvp.inand we will have it replaced with the correct product right away! Please allow us 7 days to arrange the replacements.
- Product replacement: In case you'd like to swap your ordered product for another variant, please notify us of the replacement request within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Once we verify that the returned product is unopened, we will reverse the paid amount as a gift card after deducting the return courier charges. The balance amount can then be used to place multiple orders on the Spice Story website without a minimum order value, until the amount on the card is exhausted.Â

- Refunds:
Full amount paid will be refunded to the original source of payment only in case of duplicate payment. For other concerns, please reach out to us on info@globalvp.in.
